Eduardo serves as chairman of the Lala Group and Nuplen Industrial Group boards of directors, as chairman of Aeromexico’s Executive Committee. He is a member of the Banamex Financial Group and Televisa Group boards of directors. He is chairman of SER, inspired by the  Knowledge is Power Program that focuses on providing quality education to economically disadvantaged children. In addition, he chairs the Lala Foundation, and organization that contributes to the nutrition, education, and health of people living in poverty, especially children.

Eduardo also serves on the boards of several non profit organizations including the Hospital Infantil de México, Federico Gómez, Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, Mexicanos Primero, A.C. and the Latin American Conservation Council (LACC) of the Nature Conservancy.

Eduardo has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).
