Ana Joaquina López García is an investment executive with extensive experience in private markets and a strong track record in alternative asset management. She has more than 14 years of professional experience and holds the CFA and CAIA designations, which support her expertise in financial analysis, alternative investments, and corporate governance.
Before joining SOMA, she managed a portfolio exceeding US$5.5 billion across real estate, private credit, infrastructure, and private equity. Throughout her career, she has led the design and execution of investment strategies totaling approximately US$1.8 billion, generating more than US$200 million in savings and successfully leading transactions of over US$100 million.
Currently, as Investment Director at FibraSOMA, she contributes to the evaluation and structuring of investment opportunities, financial due diligence, and strategic advisory, bringing a disciplined perspective focused on creating sustainable long-term value for the trust’s investors.
