Ánima Village is a destination by SOMA, designed by Sordo Madaleno, and envisioned for the communities of the future. It is a project that elevates the senses and emotions, placing the natural environment at the heart of the experience. Located along the emerging corridor connecting San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, this mixed-use development features six terracotta-clad retail pavilions and six open-air plazas, thoughtfully arranged along a pedestrian promenade integrated with landscaped gardens.
With over 23,000 sqm of leasable area, Ánima Village is home to more than 90 carefully curated tenants, spanning retail and dining concepts. The selection of elevated brands reinforces the project’s identity, positioning it as a destination that celebrates quality, design, and a more conscious way of living deeply connected to its surroundings.
At the coastal edge of the development, the Arte Abierto Foundation reinforces its cultural presence with Arte Baja, a new gallery located four meters below the street level of Ánima Village. The space opened with an inaugural installation by renowned Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas.
