FIBRA SOMA Strengthens Its Growth and Expansion Strategy

June 26, 2026

Mexico City, June 2026. — FIBRA SOMA continues to advance into a new stage of growth, focused on strengthening and expanding its portfolio through strategic acquisitions and the completion of its key development projects.

In an interview with Bloomberg, José Juan Sordo Madaleno de Haro, Chief Executive Officer of FIBRA SOMA, stated that the company is evaluating new acquisition opportunities of up to US$800 million over the next two quarters, including mixed-use assets in strategic markets across Mexico.

This new phase coincides with the nearing completion of FIBRA SOMA’s current development cycle. Six of its seven major projects are expected to be operational during 2026, further strengthening a diversified portfolio comprising retail, office, hospitality, and mixed-use assets.

With occupancy levels above 98%, FIBRA SOMA remains focused on high-quality assets, strategic locations, and mixed-use developments designed to create distinctive experiences and generate long-term value.

As part of its efforts to strengthen its financial structure, FIBRA SOMA completed an US$800 million debt issuance in May, primarily aimed at refinancing existing liabilities. The transaction contributes to extending the company’s maturity profile, diversifying its funding sources, and strengthening its capital structure.

Additionally, as projects currently under development become operational, FIBRA SOMA expects to resume distributions to investors during 2026, following a period in which resources were primarily allocated to the development and consolidation of its portfolio.

Looking ahead, FIBRA SOMA will continue to evaluate growth opportunities and potential access to both domestic and international capital markets, while maintaining a disciplined strategy focused on generating long-term value for its investors.

FIBRA SOMA’s portfolio currently includes some of Mexico’s most iconic real estate assets, including Antara, ARTZ Pedregal, and Andamar, as well as hospitality, office, and mixed-use projects in strategic locations across the country.
